The Global South Forum seminar series was officially kicked off on the 31st of October by Professor Nyovanni Madisse, from the Social Statistics and Demography department who is also the Director of GHP3 (Centre for Global Health, Population, Poverty and Policy). Her talk was an insightful opening into perceptions of development and how these have developed historically. This was done from a global perspective, and it was indeed interesting to find out about Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness measure!! You can download her presentation through the link below
